With approximately 75% of the island's trash left unmanaged, marine life and the environment are at considerable risk. Indonesia amasses over 130,000 tons of waste annually, with less than half being responsibly managed.
This unchecked pollution not only endangers marine ecosystems but also paints a grim picture for our global seas. Through organising beach clean-ups and vital community education, this card helps instil values of conservation and sustainable waste management in the community.
