In Kenya, the lack of affordable sanitary products leads many young girls to miss out on school, impacting their education and future opportunities. Your gift confronts this issue head-on by distributing reusable hygiene kits for girls who need them.
These kits alleviate immediate hygiene concerns and serve as a practical, long-term solution. In addition to the kits, this gift funds staff to provide monthly female health training sessions, while volunteers also offer quality health education during their four-week programmes.
This project takes a comprehensive approach, tackling both the immediate need for sanitary products and the larger issue of hygiene education. So far, dozens of girls benefit from these kits each month, but the aim is to expand this vital service to reach many more.
