🌟 Fund a week of counselling for struggling families on the Thai/Myanmar border.
The struggle against child trafficking is a critical concern on the Thai/Myanmar border. Families, often migrants, are vulnerable due to extreme poverty and decades of civil conflict. Many move to Thailand seeking a better life but find themselves living in harsh conditions that leave their children at risk. Your gift provides transformative counselling services, focusing on families at high risk, including pregnant mothers, single-parent families, and families with disabled or sick parents.
The week-long counselling programme offers practical tools to help these families envision and work towards a more stable future. The initiative has been exceptionally successful, with none of the families that have been counselled by this programme giving up their children. Despite their current capacity to work with 20 families at one time, they aim to increase this to 100, to widen their impact and protect more children from the horrors of trafficking.
